As we all know, Anupam Kher is a versatile actor who has delivered a myriad of performances, each distinctive from one another. This time, we will get to see him in his next venture, titled Uunchai which is helmed by ace filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya. The upcoming movie also marks the actor’s 520th project in his career of movies.
Anupam Kher took to social media to share his equation with Sooraj Barjatya which dates back to his first movie. He talked about the ace filmmaker being an assistant director for Mahesh Bhatt for his debut movie, Saaransh. Uunchai also marks Anupam Kher’s fourth venture with Barjatya. They earlier worked on blockbusters like Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and their latest one, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
Anupam Kher also shared a snap of Sooraj Barjatya in black and white holding a clapboard that was labelled ‘Take 1’. On a lighter note, the actor also spoke of how he had to coax the camera-shy director to pose in front of the camera. The picture shared also announced the movie going on floors.
Talking about Uunchai, the movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Neena Gupta, Saarika and Parineeti Chopra in crucial roles. Bankrolled by the ace filmmaker himself under the banner Rajshri Productions, the cameras will be cranked by Manoj Kumar Khatoi.
