Vaadivaasal: Producer Kalaippuli S Thanu has officially announced the project, which focuses on the traditional Tamil bull-taming sport, Jallikattu

Vaadivaasal, the long-pending project with Vetrimaaran, starring actor Suriya in the lead role, has finally got life, with the makers dropping updates about the film. After producer Kalaippuli S Thanu announced kickstarting the project, the latest development has been revealed by the director himself. Vetrimaaran, who attended an event recently, gave away the shoot updates.
Suriya, who was last seen in Kanguva, is expecting the release of Retro on May 1. The actor also has one film with RJ Balaji, and besides this, he is also working with Vetrimaaran in a film titled Vaadivaasal. Although the film was announced long back, it faced a lag and delay in starting. However, Vaadivaasal is back in the news, with Vetrimaaran affirming that the film will go on floors from May or June. The pre-production works are happening in full swing. Vaadivaasal marks the first time Suriya and Vetrimaaran are collaborating.
Vaadivaasal is backed by Kalaipuli S Thanu under V Creations banner. The producer had put up a post after he met Vetrimaaran and Suriya, to officially confirm the project is happening soon. GV Prakash will be scoring music for film. Vaadivaasal will revolve around the bull-taming sports, which is local to Tamil Nadu and goes by the name Jallikattu. Suriya had also taken practice sessions with his bulls a while ago. The makers of Vaadivaasal have not yet announced the release date and the rest of the cast members of the film.
Viduthalai Part 2 is available for streaming on Prime Video. Starring actors Soori, Vijay Sethupathi, Manju Warrier, Soori, Rajiv Menon, and others, the film is period action drama. It revolves around a rookie cop who is asked to capture the leader of people’s movement.
Viduthalai is a two-part film, with music scored by Ilaiyaraaja. They opened to a mixed to positive reception upon their release.
