Tovino Thomas is one of the most popular leading stars in the Malayalam film industry and each of his projects seem different from another. After his superhero flick Minnal Murali and Naaradan, Tovino will be seen next in Vaashi, a courtroom drama, co-starring Keerthy Suresh. The makers have now released a video song from the movie.
Titled Rithuragam, the song is a soft romantic number that is fun to listen to. Written by Vinayak Sasikumar and composed by Kailas, it is sung by Keshav Vinod and Sruthy Sivadas.
The video song offers a better look into the relationship between the character essayed by the two leading stars as well as into the movie’s story. The two young lawyers team up to start what looks like a small firm and are trying to make a name for themselves. Though co-workers, the two slowly start to feel attracted towards each other, and their dynamics work out well on the screen.
The movie’s makers had already released an official teaser for the movie, showing a more dramatic look at their relationship, which takes a hit after they lock horns with each other, after taking up a case.
The song offers a lighter side of the movie than what the teaser had to offer, hinting that the courtroom drama will also have a romantic side to it.
Written and directed by Vishnu G Raghav, the movie is produced by G. Suresh Kumar. With Neil D'Cunha handling the camera and Arju Benn as the editor, the movie will be the first time the two stars are sharing the screen.
Keerthy Suresh, who was last seen in Arun Matheswaran’s gory revenge thriller, Saani Kaayidham and Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata, is returning to Malayalam cinema after Mohanlal’s Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea.
Tovino Thomas, on the other hand, was last seen in Aashiq Abu’s Naaradan. The actor also has Dear Friend and Thallumala in the works.
