We had earlier reported that Malayalam film Vadakkan will make its OTT debut in Tamil and Telugu. You can now stream the film on Aha and OTTplay Premium. Starring actor Kishore in the lead role, Vadakkan is a supernatural thriller.
Vadakkan out on OTT: Where to stream Kishore’s supernatural thriller drama
Vadakkan, the 2025 Malayalam film, is now available for streaming in Tamil and Telugu. You can watch the film on Aha with your OTTplay Premium subscription. It is directed by Sajeed A and revolves around a paranormal investigator who visits an island to probe mysterious deaths that have occurred. However, what he encounters is an invisible energy. The film also incorporates the traditional art form of Theyyam from North Malabar, Kerala.
Apart from Kishore, the film also features actors Shruthy Menon, Merin Philip, Kakesh Ramananand, Meenkashi Unnikrishnan, Garggi Annathan, Greeshma Alex, and others. Written by Unni R, and helmed by filmmaker Sajeed, the technical crew of Vadakkan consists of Keiko Nakahara JSC and Linus Otsamo cranking the camera and Sooraj ES handling the edits. Bijibal has scored the music for Vadakkan. Vadakkan had a good festival run and won awards, including at the 2024 Fright Night Film Fest held in Kentucky. However, the film failed to create any buzz during the theatrical release.
