Vadh OTT release date: When and where to watch Sanjay Mishra-Neena Gupta’s thriller on OTT

The mundane life of an elderly couple is rocked by a gruesome murder- Vadh’s story definitely promises a lot of excitement and intrigue. The thriller was released on the big screen on December 9, 2022. But for those who were unable to catch the thrilling film on the big screen, fret not, as Vadh is all set to start streaming on a popular OTT platform soon.

What is Vadh about?

Vadh follows the story of an elderly couple, a retired school teacher named Shambhunath Mishra and his wife Manju Mishra. The duo live a monotonous, mundane middle class life. However, the couple’s lives are turned upside down when Shambhunath murders a local loan shark named Prajapati Pandey, in a drastic turn of events. The duo have no choice but to hide their crime and turn what they did into the ‘perfect murder’, to save their lives.

Who are the cast and crew of Vadh?

Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta star as Shambhunath Mishra and Manju Mishra respectively. Sachdeva essays the role of the loan shark that Shamhunath kills, Prajapati Pandey. Manav Vij also plays a prominent role in the film.

Post the release of Vadh, Sanjay had spoken to OTTplay and said “Even though the critics will continue to praise the movie, I'm accustomed to the fact that audiences won't go to the theatre to see my movie. Sanjay Mishra lacks the ability to draw crowds to theatres and shatter box office records and I have made peace with this fact."

The upcoming film was written and directed by Jaspal Singh Sandhu and Rajeev Barnwal. The film, which was earlier titled Gwalior, was produced by Luv Ranjan, Ankur Garg, Neeraj Ruhil, Subhav Sharma and Nymphea Saraf Sandhu under the banners of Luv Films, J Studio and Next Level Productions.

Vadh was released in cinemas last year. The film will start streaming on Netflix on February 3, 2023.
