Ranam Aram Thavarel marks Vaibhav’s 25th film as lead actor and also stars Tanya Hope and Nandita Swetha
Ranam Aram Thavarel, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Vaibhav in the lead role, is set to hit theatres on February 23, the makers of the film made the announcement on social media recently. The film will mark the actor's landmark 25th film in which he appears as the lead role.

Ranam Aram Thavarel is written and directed by Sherief. The makers have kept the plot of the film under wraps. The team released a new poster while making the release date announcement. The poster shows Vaibhav at the centre, while Tanya Hope and Nandita Swetha are on their side profiles. From the looks of the poster, the film is expected to be a crime investigation thriller.
The film is produced by Madhu Nagarajan. Besides Vaibhav, the film also stars a host of known faces including actors Nandita Swetha, Tanya Hope, Saraswathi Menon, Suresh Chakravarthy, among others. Vaibhav made his acting debut with the 2007 Telugu film Godava. However, he was first noted for his role in Saroja, the 2008 Tamil film directed by Venkat Prabhu. The actor soon became one of the regular collaborator of Venkat Prabhu and went on to star in Goa, Mankatha, Biriyani, to name a few.
Vaibhav will be once again collaborating with Venkat Prabhu for the upcoming Vijay-starrer film GOAT- Greatest of All Time. The film also stars Prabhudheva, Prashanth, Sneha, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ajmal Ameer, and others. Apart from GOAT and Ranam Aram Thavarel, Vaibhav also has fantasy comedy Aalambana. The film was scheduled to release in December, but has been postponed due to financial issues.
