Basking in the success of being the biggest Telugu movie of 2021, actor Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab will hit OTT soon. The digital rights of the movie, which marked Pawan Kalyan’s comeback film after four years, has reportedly been acquired by Zee5 and is speculated to release on the digital platform in May end.
After the release of Vakeel Saab, Pawan Kalyan fans were found celebrating the film more than the actor. Several success parties were thrown in his honour, the videos of which were popular on social media.
Directed by Venu Sriram and co-produced by Dil Raju, Vakeel Saab is a Telugu legal drama film which released on April 9. The film is the remake of the 2016 Hindi film Pink, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu. The plot of Pink and Vakeel Saab are mostly similar, with some extra details added to the latter to heighten the intensity of the narrative. When three young girls are molested by a rich brat, criminal lawyer Satyadev Konidela (Pawan Kalyan) fights for them, striving for justice.
A strong comment on the position of Indian women in a patriarchal society, Vakeel Saab was praised for its excellent performance by Pawan Kalyan.
