Vakeel Saab, which had Pawan Kalyan playing the titular role in it, has grabbed the attention of the audience yet again after two months of its digital release. The movie, which had its television premiere for the first time in Zee Telugu on July 18, is said to have fetched a TRP rating of 19.12, which is considered to be the highest in the year. The official remake of Pink, the film, directed by Venu Sriram and produced by ‘Dil’ Raju , has Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, Ananya Nagalla and Prakash Raj playing pivotal roles. Shruti Haasan was seen in a cameo in the movie, which had a theatrical release in April.

The pandemic had made the film’s theatrical run short-lived, with a period of two weeks, which was a disappointment of sorts for the Powerstar’s fans. They were excited when the film was digitally released on Amazon Prime on May 7. Now, with the TV premiere, fans of the star have yet another reason to celebrate the movie with its impressive TRP rating.

This courtroom drama, which had a few changes in the Telugu version, was lapped up by the star’s fans and had opened to positive reviews. Nonetheless, the makers made sure to keep the core subject of the movie intact, which said, “No means no.” According to the Indian Express, it was more remade from the Tamil remake Nerkonda Paarvai rather than the original version, Pink. They had also mentioned the face-off between Kalyan and Prakash Raj as opponents in the courtroom, which was immensely entertaining.

Overall, the movie was made in such a way so as to cater to the star’s massive fanbase. The idea of the makers was to take the film’s core content, women’s consent, across different sections of people. .
