Netizens call Vala 'a decent entertainer'

After its theatrical release, the film had very little impact on viewers. Many people have now expressed their thoughts on the dark comedy, describing it as a good comedy that is worth seeing once. 

The film has also been referred to by some as Dhyan Sreenivasan's sole worthy film of the year because the actor frequently has back-to-back films that don't have a major effect on the box office or among the audiences. His recent film was Dileep-starrer Prince and Family.

Ibrahim Al Balushi, Kollam Shafi, Gokulan, Abu Salim, Yusufbhai Perfumer, and Navas Vallikkunnu all play supporting parts in the film. Muhashin, who also directed Basil Joseph's Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham, is the director of Vala. Harshad penned the script for the movie, which was released in theatres in September with backing from Dulquer Salmaan.
