The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Valathu Vashathe Kallan, has dropped an update on its theatrical release today (December 22). It has been confirmed that the thriller, helmed by renowned director Jeethu Joseph, will hit the big screen the coming month.

With a new motion poster, the makers announced that the film will premiere in theatres on January 30, 2026. Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran shared the latest poster, which shows Biju Menon and Joju George sitting face to face in a dark room, hinting at an intriguing thriller. Earlier, reports claimed that Valathu Vashathe Kallan is likely to release during Christmas this year, along with Nivin Pauly-Akhil Sathyan's Sarvam Maya. So far, no other Malayalam films apart from Nikhila Vimal's Pennu Case, has been announced to release in January 2026.

Biju Menon's appearance from the film and his role as Antony Xavier had already been disclosed by the makers of the film.
