Vijay and Vijay Deverakonda are two of the most popular stars of South India. The two have worked with the director Vamshi Paidipally. And recently at an event, the filmmaker opened up about working with them and how they are different from each other.

Vamshi Paidpally is one of the producers of Vijay Deverakonda’s next, titled Jana Gana Mana. Charmme Kaur, Paidipally and Puri Jagannadh will be bankrolling the film under the banners of Puri Connects and Srikara Studio Production. The movie will be the second film of Deverakonda to be helmed by Jagannadh on the trot.

At the launch of the film, Jana Gana Mana, Vamshi said, “Working with Vijay (Vijay Devarakonda) is like working with a brother, while to work with Vijay sir is like working with one superstar, who has such a huge legacy. It gives me a kind of immense pride in directing such a huge superstar."

Vamshi calling Vijay ‘a superstar’ and lauding him has already put the director-producer into the fans’ good books. Vamshi will helm Thalapathy Vijay’s next film. Tentatively titled Thalapathy 66, the movie is expected to go on floors soon.

Thalapathy 66 will reportedly see Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, which will mark the first time the two actors share screen for a movie. While there is no official confirmation about the cast, Tollywood star Nani is also reported to make an appearance in the movie.

Touted to be a family drama with elements of action, the movie will be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual and is produced by Dil Raju producing the project under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.
