Vanangaan OTT release date: When and where to watch Arun Vijay and Bala’s film

Actor Arun Vijay stepped into the lead role of director Bala’s Vanangaan after actor Suriya had left the project due to reasons unknown. The film hit theatres for Pongal in January, and following its theatrical run, will soon makes its OTT debut. Here’s where and when you can start watching Vanangaan at your home.

Vanangaan is a 2025 action-drama film starring actor Arun Vijay in the lead role. The film is directed by veteran filmmaker Bala. The film is produced by B Studios and V House Productions, and is an action thriller set in Kaniyakumari. Roshni Prakash, Samuthirakani, Mysskin, Ridha, Chhaya Devi, Bala Sivaji, Shanmugarajan, Yohan Chacko, Kavitha Gopi, Brindha Sarathy, Mai Pa Narayanan, Aruldas, Munish Sivagurunath and others are also part of the film.

After its theatrical release, Vanangaan is all set to make its OTT debut. The post theatrical streaming rights of the film have been bagged by Tentkotta and will premiere on February 21. The streaming platform is also available in India.

Vanangaan revolves around a deaf and mute man played by Arun Vijay, who lives with his sister in Kanniyakumari and does odd jobs to sustain a living. While his rugged behaviour often lands him in trouble, he comes to know a group of perverted men who voyeur visually-impaired girls bathing. The test of the film revolves about how the hero takes action against the men.

Vanangaan majorly opened to negative reviews upon its release. The film was majorly called out for its problematic portrayal and writing of the main conflict. Reflecting this, Vanangaan did not perform well at the box office either. Initially, the film was announced with actor Suriya, who later opted out of the project due to reasons not disclosed.
