Varalaxmi Sarathkumar bumps into Varisu actor Thalapathy Vijay on the flight

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar had a surprise in store during her recent flight to Hyderabad. The Poikkal Kuthirai actress bumped into none other than Thalapathy Vijay on the flight. Vijay was said to be travelling to Hyderabad for the shoot of his upcoming film with Vamshi Paidipally, Varisu. The actress stated that she had never had such a good flight to Hyderabad. Varalaxmi shared a series of pictures with the actor and captioned it, "“Never had such a good flight to hyd... haha my favoriteeeeeeee #Thalapathy @actorvijay right next to me… whaatteew day... thank u @Jagadishbliss heheheh.... so much fun...ludo...laughter...chit chat...perfect flight...perfect day… (sic)" The pictures have gone viral on social media. 

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar had shared screen space with Vijay in the 2018 film Sarkar, which was directed by AR Murugadoss. Interestingly, Vijay is now acting alongside Varalaxmi's father, Sarathkumar in Varisu. Varisu is a bilingual helmed by Vamshi Paidipally and has Rashmika Mandanna playing the lead. The film has an ensemble cast which includes Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Sangeetha, Yogi Babu, Srikanth and Samyuktha Shanmuganathan. The film has music by Thaman. Varisu is bankrolled by Sri Venkateshwara Creations and is slated for Pongal 2023 release. After wrapping up the work for the film, Vijay will once again team up with Master director Lokesh Kanagaraj for his next. The film is tentatively being referred to as Thalapathy67.

Varalaxmi, on the other hand, was last seen in Parthiban's Iravin Nizhal, claimed as world's first single-shot non linear film. Earlier in the day, Varalaxmi also seems to have met the former space scientist Nambi Narayanan, on whom Madhavan's Rocketry: The Nambi Effect was based upon. In the pictures shared by the actress, she and her father Sarathkumar are seen posing with the scientist. She captioned it, "Whatt a lovellyyy meeting by chance @NambiNOfficial sir..as soon as he met us he immediately appreciated our work n immediately praised me to appa @realsarathkumar for doing such selective good work, made me feel so special...thank you so much sir for all that u have done for us (sic)."
