The much-awaited audio launch of Thalapathy Vijay's next Varisu is all set to be held in Chennai. The film, which has Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead, has music by Thaman. Two songs from the film, Ranjithame (sung by Vijay himself along with MM Manasi) and Thee Thalapathy (sung by Silambarasan TR) have already gone on to become chartbusters. The third single is likely to performed live by composer Anirudh Ravichander.


The audio launch is said to be a grand affair and the tickets for the same are being sold like hotcakes. However, some of the fans have stated that tickets are being sold at a whopping amount and some are as high as Rs 7,000 to Rs 10,000. The demand for the same has shot up big time as there's only 24 hours more for the big show.

In the meantime, fans have been warned against scamsters and informed that the tickets are free and are distributed by Vijay Makkal Iyakkam.


The production house had recently confirmed the date of the audio launch was December 24. Varisu, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, directed by Vamshi Paidipally and has an ensemble star cast with Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. This is the first time that the trio are teaming up for a film. Varisu also marks Rashmika's second outing in Tamil cinema after Karthi's Sultan (2021). The film was helmed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan. The star cast includes R Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Shaam, Srikanth, Khushbu, Yogi Babu, Jayasudha, Sangeetha Krish, Samyuktha Shanmughanathan, Nandini Rai, Ganesh Venkatraman, Sriman, VT Ganesan, John Vijay, Bharath Reddy, Sanjana and others.
