It looks like Thalapathy Vijay fans are in for one suprise after the other on his 48th birthday today. After releasing the first and second look of the film, the makers of his upcoming film, Varisu, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, have now released the third look as well. The production house shared the same on his social media page, "Thalapathy signs off in style #VarisuThirdLook. #Varisu #HBDDearThalapathyVijay Thalapathy @actorvijay sir @directorvamshi @iamRashmika @MusicThaman @Cinemainmygenes @KarthikPalanidp (sic)." In the third look, Vijay is seen seated on a mean machine and giving a pensive look. The actor looks dashing in a leather jacket.

The second look had Vijay lying casually on a truck atop sugarcanes and vegetables, accompanied by a few children. In the first look, the actor looks dapper in a suit. All three looks are completely different from one another and it looks like the film will be a complete commercial potboiler. Interestingly, this is the first time that Vijay is teaming up with Vamshi, and Thaman is scoring music for a Vijay film. Rashmika Mandanna plays the leading lady in the film, which was until now being referred to as Thalapathy66. The Telugu version of the film has been titled Vaarasudu.

The supporting cast includes Shaam, Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Yogi Babu, Srikanth, Sangeetha Krish and Samyuktha and the names were announced one by one by the production house. The story and screenplay for the film are by Vamshi himself, dialogues are by Hari and Ashishor Solomon, and additional screenplay is by lyricist Vivek. The shooting for the film is on in full swing. This is the first time that Rashmika Mandanna is teaming up with Vijay. The film is slated to release for Pongal next year. And since its a festival release, Vijay fans are already excited.
