The Yashoda actress recently had a heart-to-heart chat with Vijay fans

After the rave reviews for her performance in Yashoda, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is now awaiting the release of her next, Shaakuntalam, in which she will be seen opposite Malayalam actor Dev Mohan. The film's producers, Sri Venkateswara Creations, today, dropped a new poster from the film and made the announcement that Shaakuntalam will hit screens on February 17.
Soon after the announcement, a Vijay fan dropped a message on the social media handle asking for the update on Varisu trailer release date and film release date. Sri Venkateswara Creations is also the producer of Vijay's upcoming Pongal release. Fans of Vijay are eagerly awaiting the release date of Varisu trailer. Now that Ajith's Thunivu trailer is out (which is also slated to release for Pongal), it has piqued the curiosity of fans. Samantha then replied to the eager fan stating that since they had hijacked her mentions, she found out when the trailer would release and that it would be out soon. This has won the hearts of Vijay fans.
Samantha, today, got into a chat mode with fans on Twitter as a New Year Special. The actress interacted with fans about her battle against her health condition, films and more. She stated that her life has been completely different now and that the strength that she still has is because of her fans and their unconditional support.
She also commented on a series of hoardings from Vettri theatres that featured Trisha in Raangi, Nayanthara in Connect, Aishwarya Rajesh in Driver Jamuna and Kovai Sarala in Sembi. The actress called it 'Women Rising!! (sic)'.
The actress had recently shared a picture of herself in which she had stated that this year's resolution was to be kinder on herself. She also wished her fans a fantastic 2023. Apart from Shaakuntalam, Samantha also has in her kitty, Kushi, in which she has teamed up with Vijay Deverakonda.
