Varshangalkku Shesham first look to be out on this date, Vineeth Sreenivasan shares a delightful note on final day of shoot

Director Vineeth Sreenivasan has just announced that the shoot of his Pranav Mohanlal-starrer, Varshangalkku Shesham, has been wrapped. He has also revealed that the movie will be released in theatres in April 2024. Not just this, the Hridayam director also said that the first look of the film will be out later today (December 20). 

Featuring a star-studded cast, Varshangalkku Shesham brings together the Hridayam pair of Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan, along with Aju Varghese, Neeta Pillai, Basil Joseph, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Neeraj Madhav and Nivin Pauly. Nivin will be seen in a cameo appearance. Shaan Rahman has scored the music for the film.

On his social media pages, Vineeth shared the news of wrapping up the shoot of the romantic film. Posting on Instagram, the director wrote, “This morning, at 2 am, on Dhyan’s birthday, we finished shooting Varshangalkku Shesham. I am thankful to god that I have an army of people who are passionate about what they do. This is one film where I saw how beautiful the process of film making can be, if everyday and everything is planned meticulously. When you respect the light and when you respect nature, it gives you something precious. It gives you its magic. For me, Varshangalkku Shesham was all about realising this, yet again. Our film will be released in April 2024. First look poster will be out today, in a few hours!!” (sic).

Vineeth: Varshangalkku Shesham has nothing to do with Mohanlal-Sreenivasan's real-life incidents

In an interview, Vineeth addressed the speculations around the plot of Varshangalkku Shesham. “Varshangalkku Shesham has nothing to do with Mohanlal and Sreenivasan's real-life episodes. The plot is centred around an old song from the 1980s and the issues arising due to the remake of that particular song after many years,” the director elaborated. 

For the uninitiated, it was speculated that the film was being inspired by the real-life stories of Malayalam actors Mohanlal, Sreenivasan and Mammootty and their professional struggles during their early days.

Varshangalkku Shesham marks the reunion of the Hridayam team, which is why expectations for the film have been high since its initial announcement.
