Varshangalkku Shesham, the highly anticipated Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial, is gearing up for a Vishu release. The movie marks the director’s reunion with the Hridayam lead pair, Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan, and his younger brother, Dhyan Sreenivasan. The movie, which is touted to be an entertainer set in two different timelines, has grabbed the attention of the audience with its promising trailer. Meanwhile, the Varshangalkku Shesham team dropped a special poster of Kalyani Priyadarshan on the special occasion of her birthday.

Interestingly, the makers of the highly anticipated project have mostly kept the role of Kalyani Priyadarshan under wraps so far, due to undisclosed reasons. The audiences is given glimpses of the talented actress in the Varshangalkku Shesham teaser and trailer. From what we have seen so far, it is safe to assume that Kalyani is playing the role of Pranav’s lady love in the film. The actress’s dialogue in the trailer also hinted that she is not just playing a love interest but has much more to do in the Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial.
However, the Varshangalkku Shesham team has now put an end to the complaints of Kalyani Priyadarshan’s fans by finally revealing a solo poster of the actress from the movie. The team dropped the new poster on the special occasion of the leading lady’s birthday. “Team Varshangalkkushesham wishes dear @kalyanipriyadarshan a very happy birthday,” reads the social media post on the official handles of the production banner, Merryland Cinemas. But nothing much about Kalyani’s role in the film, including the name of character, has been revealed yet.

If the reports are to be believed, the Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial revolves around two young men named Murali Vishwambaran and Venu Koothuparambu, two youngsters who migrated to Chennai in the 1970s to pursue a career in films. Kalyani Priyadarshan, on the other hand, is playing the role of Murali’s love interest, whom he meets during his Madras days. According to the grapevine, Nivin Pauly, who is making an extended cameo appearance in Varshangalkku Sheshham, is playing the role of Nithin, a modern-day superstar. The movie, which revolves around the evolution of Malayalam cinema, will hit the big screens on April 11, 2024.
