Varun Dhawan and Pooja Hegde are two of the most loved actors in the industry. While Varun is gearing up for the release of Baby John, Pooja has a handful of projects such as Deva and South Indian films Suriya 44 and Thalapathy 69. Amid this, it has been known that Varun and Pooja are all set to collaborate for the first time on a new film.

Pooja Hegde and Varun Dhawan are all set to star in David Dhawan’s next film, tentatively titled Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. The announcement ended all speculations and marked the pair's first on-screen collaboration.

Taking to her Instagram story, Pooja shared a candid moment with Varun.She captioned the picture, “This duo is dreaming of bread” followed by laughing emoticons. She added, “Chalo post our next schedule maybe?” with a mix of teary-eyed, thinking cloud, and pizza emojis, hinting at their camaraderie during the film’s shoot.

The project brings together Pooja Hegde and Varun Dhawan for a new and dynamic on-screen pairing. Fans can expect an interesting cinematic experience in this much-anticipated film.

Work front

Varun was recently seen in Raj & DK's spy action series, Citadel: Honey Bunny. It is the Indian spy action spin-off of the American series, Citadel which starred Priyanka Chopra. Citadel: Honey Bunny, starring Varun and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, has been garnering praise from viewers. They loved the plot and also the performances. The plot takes us back to the 1990s when stuntman Bunny hires struggling actress Honey (Samantha) for a side gig that leads them into a high-stakes world of action, espionage, and betrayal.

Meanwhile, Varun has Baby John, Border 2, and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari in the pipeline. Directed by Kalees, Baby John will be released on December 25.

On the other hand, Pooja has Deva and South Indian films Suriya 44 and Thalapathy 69.
