Varun Dhawan shares NEW pictures with Samantha Ruth Prabhu from Serbia, fans say can’t wait for Citadel

In was in April this year when Indian actors Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan attended the premiere of Hollywood stars Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden's Citadel in London. Soon afterwards, it was officially confirmed that Varun and Samantha have been roped in to play lead roles in the Indian version of Citadel that will be released next year.

Ever since this development, Varun and Samantha have remained in the limelight. Nowadays, these two popular celebs are busy shooting in Serbia for the Indian version of Citadel.

While the two celebs continue to prioritize on their work, the two never shy away from having fun with each other. Just day before yesterday, the duo was spotted partying together in a club in Serbia – the video of which went viral on social media.

And now, in a fresh update, the Bhediya (2022) actor has dropped a bunch of pictures from the sets of Citadel which is being loved by his fans and well-wishers. He captioned: “In between work. We play. Next year we slay.”

In the pictures and video attached in the post, Varun Dhawan can be spotted having food along with his costar Samantha. Not only this, but he was also seen playing bow and arrow along with the team of Citadel India.

To this, one fan on Instagram commented: “Can't wait for Citadel India.” Another Instagram user wrote: “Next year u guys will gonna slay. Can’t wait for Citadel India. So excited.”

Talking about the excitement for the upcoming web show, Samantha had earlier told news agency PTI, “I am all very eager to dive into it, especially for a girl to do action and it is not really every day that you get a tag that, ‘she is good at action’. So, now you want to do better, and you want to push it, and you don’t want that tag to go away. I think that is what is pushing me to my maximum capabilities.”
