Varun Tej to team up with Praveen Sattaru for his next, film takes off with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad

Varun Tej will have a couple of busy months in store, starting this April. He has consecutive releases in two months in different genres, Ghani and F3, and expectations are running high on both the films. While Ghani, directed by debutant Kiran Korrapati where he pairs opposite Saiee Manjrekar, is set to hit theatres on April 8, his comic caper with Venkatesh, F3, will release on May 27. Apart from that, the star has finalised his next, to be directed by Praveen Sattaru.

The Varun Tej-Praveen Sattaru project was launched earlier today with a brief pooja ceremony in the presence of the lead actor's parents Naga Babu Konidela and Padmaja Konidela. While Naga Babu gave the first clap, his better half Padmaja had switched on the camera. The film will be bankrolled by veteran producer BVSN Prasad under Sree Venkateswara Cine Chitra. Praveen Sattaru, Varun Tej, the producer BVSN Prasad, art director Avinash Kolla and others were presented at the event too. 

The untitled project, the 12th film in the career of Varun Tej, has an impressive lineup of technicians in place. Apart from the art director Avinash Kolla, the team comprises cinematographer Mukesh and Mahanati composer Mickey J Meyer too. Other details about the cast, crew of the same will be revealed shortly. Praveen Sattaru, who last helmed Tamannaah's web debut The 11th Hour on aha, is currently wrapping up Nagarjuna, Sonal Chauhan starrer The Ghost too.
