Varun Tej to wed Lavanya Tripathi soon, here is the engagement date

Considered one of the most eligible bachelors in Tollywood, actor Varun Tej is finally ready to tie the knot. Rumours about his wedding with actress Lavanya Tripathi have been making the rounds for over two years now.

In past interviews, Varun’s father, Naga Babu, has said that he is looking for an alliance and very soon an announcement will be made. He always gave the press a feeling that Varun will have an arranged marriage. Now going by the latest media reports, Varun and Lavanya are set to get hitched soon!

The word is that the megastar is ready to get engaged to Lavanya on June 9th at a private ceremony in Hyderabad. Only a few family members will be attending the event. They are also likely to announce the wedding date on the same day.

Going back in time, Varun first met Lavanya on the set of Sreenu Vaitla’s Mister. It is said that they have been dating ever since. Both Lavanya and Varun have been tight-lipped about their relationship. Once even OTTplay had asked Lavanya about her dating Varun, but she politely denied that.

Well, things have changed as the couple is finally getting engaged now. Lavanya hails from Dehradun and was launched in the Telugu film industry with Andala Rakshasi, a film backed by Rajamouli and his family. Varun is megastar Chiranjeevi’s nephew and the first cousin of Allu Arjun. So, this wedding will be a star-studded affair and fans cannot wait for the official news to rejoice.
