The Gen Next superstar Varun Dhawan was last seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s film Bawaal. The film, met with an encouraging reponse after it got stremed on OTT. Post that, all the eyes are now trained on his next film VD 18, a film that has been making news ever since the time it was announced. Right from the word go, the film’s makers (including Varun Dhawan) have maintained that the film’s title is not VD 18 and that it was only the working title. Today, Varun Dhawan took to social media and made a ‘big’ promise to all his fans.

Today, the film’s lead actor Varun Dhawan took to social media and made a promise to all his fans that there will be a big reveal about the film VD 18, although he did not even drop a minor hint about what the reveal is supposed to be. Besides Varun Dhawan, there was also Wamiqa Gabbi and Keerthy Suresh who also posted the same announcement about the ‘Big Reveal’ on their respective social media handles.
The real title of VD 18 is Baby John?
Right from the time the film’s stars have teased their fans about the ‘Big Reveal’, there are many who feel that it must be about the announcement of the film’s official title. Speaking about the film’s title, a couple of days ago, there was a strong buzz that the film’s title could be ‘Baby John’, which was reported in Bollywood Hungama.
As for the film VD 18, it is being directed by A. Kaleeswaran. The film, which is an adaptation of Atlee's 2016 Tamil blockbuster Their, also marks the Bollywood debut of Keerthy Suresh. Besides Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi, the film also stars the veteran actor Jackie Shroff, Rajpal Yadav and Sheeba Chaddha. And if the reports are to be believed, then, Sanya Malhotra will also be seen in the film in a special appearance.
