Ved first look posters: Riteish Deshmukh announces release date of his first directorial starring him and Genelia D'Souza

Riteish Deshmukh finally debuts as a director with his upcoming Marathi film Ved. The anticipated movie stars the first-time filmmaker along with his wife Genelia D'Souza in pivotal roles. Riteish took to his social media handle and dropped a few first-look posters from the film and also announced the release date.

The actor-director shared a few posters from the film featuring himself and Genelia with special notes in Marathi in the captions.

The first post translates as, "There is no time to do madness but what is the point in expressing the madness done on a moment! Presenting the date and the first look of the movie with best wishes for Diwali and Padwa. Our #वेड is coming to you on the 14th December with your love and blessings. #ved #वेड३०डिसेंबर #vedmarathimovie (sic)."

A few minutes later, the actor-director shared another post in English and a couple of images along with it featuring the duo together. The caption reads, "On the auspicious day of Diwali Padwa am extremely thrilled and happy to share the #FirstLook of my Directorial Marathi Film #Ved #वेड (Madness, Craze, Passion)

Ved, which also stars Ravi Raj Kande, Salman Khan, Ashok Saraf, Jiya Shankar and Shubhankar Tawde, is slated to hit cinemas on December 30.
