Vedha 2 very much on the cards says Shiva Rajkumar; sequel will feature a new look, he adds

Shiva Rajkumar's milestone 125th project Vedha has been garnering positive reviews from the audience. From the veteran actor and the entire female cast's performances to the action choreography and Arjun Janya's music, fans have showered praise on several aspects of the film. Alongside, many have lauded the team for choosing to tell a story that carries a very important social message.

Vedha follows the father-daughter duo of Shiva Rajkumar and Aditi Sagar who go on a brutal expedition to seek justice. The film also stars Ganavi Laxman, Shwetha Changappa, Veena Ponnappa, Umashree, Raghu Shivamogga, and many others.

Shiva Rajkumar recently went live on social media to interact with his fans and discuss many interesting things in the same vein. Fans also got the chance to put forth a few queries to the Century Star and one of them was regarding the potential sequel to Vedha. Much to their delight, Shivanna gave an affirmative to the possibility, stating that Vedha 2 is very much on the cards.

"There's a sure-shot chance of making Vedha 2. You will get to see another get-up of mine in that film," said Shiva Rajkumar in the interaction.

Shiva Rajkumar would also discuss how his first film Anand, which released more than 36 years ago, and Vedha are similar in many capacities. Anand was produced by his late mother Parvathamma with Vedha marking the debut of his wife Geetha Shiva Rajkumar as a producer - both films, he says, had him play starkly identical characters. As far as the future of Geetha Pictures is concerned, Shivanna shares that the team intends on working with budding directors, writers, and actors with many projects planned to be made under the banner.

On the other hand, Shiva Rajkumar has a number of projects lined up for release including the heist thriller Ghost, Arjun Janya's 45, and the Tamil film Captain Miller in which he plays Dhanush's older brother. He will also be seen alongside Rajinikanth in Jailer.
