Vedha first single: Arjun Janya - Singer Mangli combo returns for the Shiva Rajkumar starrer

The combination of Arjun Janya and director A. Harsha has already yielded several memorable soundtracks such as Birugaali, Anjani Putra, and the more recent Bhajarangi 2. And to take things forward in this collaboration, the duo is back with yet another exciting project titled Vedha, a period action drama starring the Hattrick Hero Shiva Rajkumar. 

And to make things all the more special, the first single 'Gillakko Shiva' from the soundtrack of Vedha will feature the very popular singer Mangli. Arjun Janya and Mangli have previously rendered hugely successful tracks such as Kanne Adhirindhi (from the Telugu version of Roberrt), Yennegu Hennigu (from Ek Love Ya), and the very recent Rama Rama Rama from Dil Pasand (featuring Nishvika and Darling Krishna) - fans have been keenly looking forward to this unique combination ever since the first song hit the charts across both Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

As far as Gillakko Shiva is concerned, the lyrical video song offers viewers a peek into the world of Vedha with Mangli's powerful vocals underlining the visuals. Veteran lyricist V. Nagendra Prasad has penned the words of the song.

Vedha marks Shiva Rajkumar's 125th outing as a leading man and fans have been particularly curious about his character's look in the film. This would be the senior actor's fourth collaboration with director/choreographer A. Harsha after Bhajarangi, Vajrakaya, and Bhajarangi 2.

On the other hand, Arjun Janya has been quite the busy man this past year with as many as 8 releases already and a few more to follow. As one of the most prolific music composers in the business today, he has managed to strike the right balance between high-profile projects like Gaalipata 2 and films of the niche kind like Window Seat and Padavi Poorva (releasing on December 30). Arjun Janya will also be making his debut as a director with a film titled 45 which stars Shiva Rajkumar in the lead.
