Vedha Twitter review: 'Shivanna's best film since Tagaru,' say netizens, call it 'brutal', 'massy'

Vedha, Shiva Rajkumar's milestone 125th film, is now in theatres and the internet is unable to stop raving about it. The film also received one of the biggest openings of recent times for a Shivanna film with shows starting as early as 5 am in Bengaluru and fans would throng theatres to catch the beloved Century Star in action. And much to their delight, Vedha seems to have lived up to every bit of their expectations as the film continues to trend on social media.

The consensus on Twitter is very encouraging for the makers as netizens hail director A. Harsha, Shiva Rajkumar, and the entire cast of Vedha for pulling off a riveting action drama. 'Strong', 'massy', 'brutal' - these are some of the adjectives used by netizens to describe their big screen experience with many of them also sharing that the film's core message too touched a chord with them. 

Vedha, without giving away any spoilers, is a revenge saga that follows the father-daughter duo which goes on a bloodied and brutal expedition to seek justice. While one half of the story is centred on their intense journey, the rest of it unravels why and how they find themselves in this position. OTTplay's review of the film commends the makers for lending a great platform to the female cast (comprising Ganavi Laxman, Aditi Sagar, Shwetha Changappa, Umashree, Veena Ponnappa, and others) while it also laments the film's slightly over-the-top resolution to a problem that's rampant and menacing.
