Veera Dheera Sooran - Malayalam actor Siddique comes on board Vikram’s action drama

It's official! Malayalam actor Siddique is all set to star in Vikram’s upcoming film Veera Dheera Sooran. The makers announced the official update by releasing a poster of the actor, welcoming him into the project. The caption of the new update read, “Excited to announce that we have with us another brilliant performer #siddique with us on board for #veeradheerasooran (sic)".  

Siddique, who has starred in a few Tamil films in his acting career, made his Kollywood debut in the 1996 film called Subash. The actor’s last Tamil on-screen appearance was in the Jiiva-starrer Varalaru Mukkiyam. Notably, Veera Dheera Sooran will also mark Vikram and Siddique's first on-screen collaboration. However, fans are now curious to know whether the Malayalam actor will be playing a negative role in the upcoming film. 

Apart from Siddique, Suraj Venjaramoodu, is the other Malayalam actor who will be appearing in this Vikram-SU Arun Kumar film.

Veera Dheera Sooran to have two parts?

According to the latest reports, Veera Dheera Sooran will be split into two parts. Yes, you read that right! Director SU Arun Kumar is shooting both parts in a single stretch. The Chithha director seems to have been inspired by Mani Ratnam, who had also shot the two parts of his magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan in one go and released the films at set intervals, without adding extra costs or production delays. 

According to sources, Veera Dheera Sooran is set to have both drama and action elements.

Vikram to play Kaali, a gangster

From the title release video, it is understood that Chiyaan is all set to play a fearless gangster named Kaali in the SU Arun Kumar film. The four-minute-long video begins with a voiceover of people discussing a specific location, where people refrain from going due to a previous incident. Meanwhile, a gang of men, lurk near a supermarket, aiming to target Vikram’s character. We then see Vikram shooting the group with a gun as the men approach him. The title of the action drama Veera Dheera Sooran is revealed. 

Besides Vikram, Veera Dheera Sooran also stars Dushara Vijayan, SJ Suryah and Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu in pivotal roles.
