Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2 box office collection day 6: Vikram film’s maintains pace, but will it become blockbuster?

Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, the Vikram-starrer Tamil film which released in theatres on March 27, Thursday, has collected Rs 26 crore at the domestic box office in Tamil and Telugu, so far in its six-day run in theatres. Written and directed by SU Arun Kumar, the film is an action thriller with the sequel to come out first.

Actor Vikram, who is known for his exceptional performances, starred in the 2025 Tamil action thriller film Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2. The makers took a unique decision to release the second part of the film before the prequel. It is written and directed by SU Arun Kumar.

Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 had a rough start on its first day, with the FDFS and noon shows getting cancelled due to legal issues. The show started at 5 pm, and is currently running in cinemas. With the Eid weekend, the film has manged to collect Rs 26 crore so far, as per Sacnilk report. Veera Dheera Sooran opened to mixed to positive reception upon its release. Besides Vikram, the film also stars Dushara Vijayan, SJ Suryah, and Suraj Venjaramoodu in his Tamil debut.

For those confused about the film’s title, SU Arun Kumar and team decided to release the sequel first. In a recent theatre visit, Vikram confirmed that they will be making part one and three, in which the characters of Dileep and Venkat will be explored much.

Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 revolves around the rivalry between a cop and powerful family in a village. As each of them seek revenge against the other, the protagonist, a former henchman, gets caught between the tussle.

Backed by HR Pictures, the film has music by GV Prakash Kumar. Theni Eshwar has cranked the camera.
