Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2 box office collection day 8: Directed by SU Arun Kumar, the film features Dushara Vijayan and SJ Suryah among others

Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, the Vikram-starrer Tamil action thriller, has been getting mixed to positive responses from audience. It has been one week since its release in theatres, and the film has collected about Rs 30 crore at the domestic box office in eight days. Recently, the makers had also released the official box office number worldwide, revealing that the Vikram-starrer made Rs 52 crore worldwide.
Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 released on March 27, and is a Tamil action thriller directed by SU Arun Kumar. The film stars Vikram as Kaali, a provision store owner drawn into a world of crime and rivalry. The film has collected Rs 30 crore at the domestic box office, as per Sacnilk report. However, it had made Rs 52 crore at the worldwide box office collection.
The film is expected to get slowed down from next week, with Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly set to take over. It is slated for a theatrical release on April 10, for Tamil New Year. Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 faced some legal troubles at the time of its release, with the FDFS and noon shows getting cancelled.
The film features a stellar ensemble cast led by Vikram. Along with him, others include Dushara Vijayan in a yet another powerful role , SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu in a significant role marking his Tamil debut, and others. The technical team comprises music composer GV Prakash Kumar, cinematographer Theni Eswar, and editor Prasanna GK. Produced by Riya Shibu under the HR Pictures banner, the film has garnered attention for its gripping narrative and high-octane action sequences.
It is to be noted that this film is the second part, with the prequel yet to be released. SU Arun Kumar had stated that the first part will unravel the events that took place before Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 and open about the past conflicts of the characters.
