Venkatesh, the actor, is someone who doesn’t wear stardom on his sleeve - he is measured and has a detached approach towards fame, limelight and that’s what makes him an equally interesting personality off-screen.In his next release, F3, the veteran plays a character that’s quite a contrast to his real-life personality, in the part of a middle-class man, whose wife’s lust for money lands him in trouble.

In an interaction with the media ahead of F3’s release, Venkatesh says he never tries to throw his weight around while doing comedy. He finds it necessary to free oneself from apprehensions to ensure good flow in performances. His approach was the same for his previous comic capers like Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu, Nuvvu Naaku Nachav, Malliswari too.

He appears relieved to have a theatrical release after three long years - his recent films Drushyam 2 and Narappa released directly on Amazon Prime Video. The star plays it safe by saying the digital release was owing to the COVID-19 scenario. “There’s an additional excitement while watching comedy entertainers in theatres and F3 will be three-times more entertainment than the original. It will live upto audience expectations,” Venkatesh assures.

The Swarnakamalam actor mentions that he doesn’t try to go overboard with comedy and plays a part as per the needs of the script and it comes across as spontaneous on the screen. F3 is a story about the middle-class dream dream to earn a quick buck, the greed to get rich and how the characters are taught a lesson in the process, he states.

Victory Venkatesh, as he’s regularly addressed, never overthinks his scenes and found out that director Anil Ravipudi was as crazy as him during the shoot. “I worked with him on Masala as well, for which he was a writer. He writes his dialogues well, knows what he wants and has terrific comic timing. His strength as a writer helps the film immensely and the dialogues feel natural for the same reason,” he adds.

The veteran is a good observer off-screen and grasps hold of unique mannerisms, body language of people in real life. There are a handful of good comedians in the industry and I learn from everyone, Venkatesh shares, while also conveying his admiration for Allu Ramalingaiah and Johnny Lever for the way they use their voice.

The F3 star is confident that audiences will enjoy his combo with Varun Tej and says the latter’s character is quite interesting in the film. “He has done a wonderful job and I share a terrific rapport with him.” F3 is also his third film with producer Dil Raju. Venky, who knows him since his Premichukundam Ra days, feels the latter has great passion for movies, while also praising his ability to analyse a film and work hard to accomplish his dreams.

The star, besides his Netflix series Rana Naidu, has already signed two films with Sithara Entertainments, Mythri Movie Makers.
