Veteran thespian Manoj Mitra hospitalised

Veteran theatre personality Manoj Mitra was admitted to a Kolkata hospital on February 20 after a complaint of chest discomfort. After his admission to the cardiology department of SSKM, the thespian went through surgery and a pacemaker was installed. According to hospital sources, he is getting better after the surgery. 

Manoj Mitra is known to be a powerful actor. Not only on the stage, but the actor also ruled films and television for decades. He is known for his stupendous performance in Bancharamer Bagan and Adarsha Hindu Hotel. The 85-year-old thespian is also known to be a teacher and he keeps writing even today.
