We had earlier reported that actor Fahadh Faasil has begun dubbing for his role in the upcoming film Vettaiyan starring Rajinikanth. Now the latest actor to begin for their portions is actor Abhirami. Written and directed by filmmaker TJ Gnanavel, the film is scheduled to release this October in theatres.

Abhirami begins dubbing for Vettaiyan

Vettaiyan is one of the most expected Tamil films this year. The film is headlined by actor Rajinikanth and directed by filmmaker TJ Gnanavel of Jai Bhim fame. The film features a star ensemble, including actors from various industries. With the post-production of the film underway, the actors have begun dubbing for their portions. After Fahadh Faasil, the latest to begin dubbing for the film is actor Abhirami. Sharing photos from the dubbing studio, the actor wrote, "Started dubbing for Vettayan! Ooooh! Can't wait!"

Vettaiyan features actors Amitabh Bachchan, Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, Rithika Singh, and VJ Rakshan, among others. Touted to be an action drama, Rajinikanth will be playing the role of a cop in the film. Vettaiyan is backed by Lyca Productions banner and has Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music. The film is set to hit theatres in October. A release date will be mentioned closer to the release.

It seems a busy year for Abhirami. The actor who was last seen in Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Maharaja, will be sharing screen space with both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. Apart from Vettaiyan, Abhirami will also be working in Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film Thug Life. However her role is kept under wraps.

It is directed by veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam and features Trisha, Silambarasan, Ashok Selvan, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gautham Karthik and others. A release date for the gangster drama is yet to be announced. Thug Life has music by AR Rahman and is backed by Madras Talkies and Raaj Kamal Films International.
