Not too long ago, Vicky Kaushal had taken the internet by storm over his transformation for Chhaava. Even though he built muscle, the actor got leaner for the biggest blockbuster of the year. He has done it again for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War, and this time, he's not alone. Ranbir Kapoor, also a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film, is in competition for the weight-loss journey.

Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal have gone leaner for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama, Love & War. "Ranbir Kapoor has lost 12 kgs while Vicky Kaushal has lost 15 kgs for their characters in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War. This extensive physical transformation of both the stars is evident enough to light up the screens for the audiences," a source told MoneyControl. This is the first time Ranbir has shed so many pounds for a role since his debut film, Saawariya (where he had to go full monty in a towel scene).

Vicky Kaushal's transformation for Chhaava had not gone unnoticed. The URI actor kept sharing gym pictures and received love throughout his journey for the movie. His transformation was especially noticed in the final scene of the film (now available on OTT). And the actor is preparing to surprise his fans once again.
About Love & War
Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Love & War would see ‘Rockstar’ Ranbir and Vicky's characters fight on-screen for female lead Alia Bhatt's attention. The movie's full story is still not revealed, but most of the scenes are shot in a Mumbai studio. The film was scheduled for Diwali 2025 release along with Yash (Gajakesari actor)'s Toxic. Although there were rumours that Love & War might not be able to maintain the schedule, a source had stated that the movie is on schedule. So, for now, Love & War might be on track and will release in theatres this Diwali. No OTT release date or platform for the film has been confirmed so far.
