Recently, at an awards ceremony in Mumbai, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif marked their first public presence together as he kissed Katrina as well as took the award for Sardar Udham.

At the Filmfare Awards, Vicky Kaushal appeared sharp in his first public outing with his wife, the actress Katrina Kaif. He later took home a prize for his role in Sardar Udham Singh. On Tuesday, the awards ceremony took place in Mumbai. Although Vicky and Katrina didn't walk the red carpet together, they were spotted holding hands inside the event. Vicky and Katrina were sitting together with his brother, actor Sunny Kaushal, and Vicky was wearing a flashy tuxedo. Katrina was stunning in a saree and had her hair down.
Eventually, when Vicky was performing at the awards ceremony, he approached Sunny and Katrina as well. Vicky received the Best Actor (Critics) award for his outstanding performance in Sardar Udham, and Katrina was the one who cheered the loudest. In his address, Vicky thanked Katrina as well as his family and said, “I love you mom-dad. I love you dearest wife, you have brought so much happiness in my life. Thank you Sunny, you guys make me who I am as a person.”

Furthermore, he paid respect to the late actor Irrfan Khan, who was originally set to star in the movie. Vicky added, “This is my first Filmfare. This feels very very special. It was a special film for all of us. So thankful to Shoojit Da. My performance in this film is a tribute to Irrfan Khan. I miss him so much.”
Meanwhile, Kaushal has completed work on four of his scheduled ventures. He will appear in Shashank Khaitan's comedy Govinda Naam Mera with Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar. He will also make an appearance in the forthcoming movie directed by Laxman Utekar and starring Sara Ali Khan. Along with The Great Indian Family, a family film starring Manushi Chhillar and Tripti Dimri, he has also completed the unnamed film by filmmaker Anand Tiwari.
In development as of August 2022 is his second collaboration with Meghna Gulzar, the biography Sam Bahadur about the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
