Vicky Kaushal, Sara Ali Khan, Ranveer Singh celebrate as Chennai Super Kings wins IPL 2023 Winner’s trophy

History has been scripted! The Chennai Super Kings on Tuesday clinched their fifth Indian Premier League title after beating the Gujarat Titans in a nail-biting last over thriller. Soon after this feat, it was evident that fans of CSK skipper MS Dhoni could not control their emotions, many of whom wept in tears of joy and happiness.

Celebrities in the world of Bollywood, too, found it difficult to hide their emotions and cheered with joy witnessing the finale of IPL 2023.

Interestingly, Bollywood actors Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal were present at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad – where the final match took place. The duo was present to promote their upcoming film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke which is slated to hit the theatres on June 2 this week.

However, little did we know that both these celebrities had a keen interest in cricket. A few hours ago, Kaushal dropped an Instagram post wherein he and Sara can be seen cheering for MS Dhoni and his team. He captioned the post: “MAHI FOR THE WIN!!! Jaddu you rockstar!!! What a match! GT… the best team through the tournament. Clearly the game was the real winner. #ipl2023 #iplfinal”

Bollywood star Ranveer Singh also heaped praises both for Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings. Taking to Twitter, he said, “Hardik’s talismanic leadership @hardikpandya7 The fight and might of this team @gujarat_titans Vanquished but gallant all the way! #AavaDe #IPLOnStar @StarSportsIndia #IPLFinals #IPL2023Final #HardikPandya #CSKvsGT @IPL”

Earlier on Monday, megastar Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog, “May the best team win” ahead of IPL Finale match.

After the match was over, legendary cricketer MS Dhoni announced his plans for retirement. Whether his plans will turn into reality, only time will tell.
