Vidaamuyarchi OTT release date: When and where to stream Ajith Kumar and Magizh Thirumeni film

Vidaamuyarchi, the recently released Tamil film starring actor Ajith Kumar in the lead role, is all set to make its OTT debut. Netflix has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film. Vidaamuyarchi will be out on Netflix from March 3 onwards. It will stream in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

We had earlier reported that actor Ajith Kumar’s action thriller Vidaamuyarchi will stream on Netflix after its theatrical run. The makers on Monday announced the OTT release date. Vidaamuyarchi will stream on Netflix from March 3 onwards. It will stream in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

Vidaamuyarchi is a no-frills action thriller featuring Ajith in the lead role. Directed by filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Lyca Productions, the film is an adaptation of the Hollywood film Breakdown. After much delay, the film finally hit theatres on February 6. Now, after a month, it is heading towards a Netflix premiere.

Generally opened to positive reviews, the ensemble star cast of Vidaamuyarchi includes Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, Aarav, Nikhil Nair and others in prominent roles.

Vidaamuyarchi plot and everything you need to know

The film revolves around a husband and wife who are going through a rough patch in their marital life. As they take their last road trip together, a car breakdown prompts the wife to take the lift from another Indian couple they see on road. This leads to the wife’s mysterious disappearance with the husband left to find her all by himself.

The film has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander and Om Prakash cranking the camera. It marked the first time Ajith collaborated with Magizh Thirumeni who has done films like Thadam and Kalaga Thalaivan.

Meanwhile, Trisha and Ajith will be once again reuniting for upcoming film Good Bad Ugly slated for April 10 release.
