Video of Naan Naan song from Mahaan out

The video of the single Naan Naan from Chiyaan Vikram's Mahaan was released today. The film's director Karthik Subbaraj shared the same on his social media page. He wrote, "Here is the Video of song #NaanNaan from #Mahaan #ChiyaanVikram #DhruvVikram @Music_Santhosh @Lyricist_Vivek @kshreyaas @sherif_choreo @vivekharshan @SimranbaggaOffc @actorsimha @7screenstudio @PrimeVideoIN @SonyMusicSouth https://youtu.be/RfbehsDXLMo (sic)." The song is sung by the film's music director Santhosh Narayanan and has lyrics by Vivek.

The film's star cast includes Vikram, Dhruv Vikram, Bobby Simhaa, Simran, Sanath, Muthukumar and Deepak Paramesh. Cinematography is handled by Shreyas Krishna and editing is by Vivek Harshan. Though Anirudh was earlier roped in to score the music, he had to opt out due to date issues. As soon as the shoot began, it had to be halted due to the pandemic. It was resumed in mid- 2021 and the was wrapped up soon. The film, which was dubbed and released in Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, opened to positive reviews.

In the meantime, Vikram is awaiting the release of his two other films Dhruva Natchathiram and Cobra. Dhruva Natchathiram is directed by Gautham Menon and is a spy film starring an ensemble cast Vikram, Simran, Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, Parthiban,Vinayakan, Arjun Das, Raadika Sarathkumar, Vamsi Krishna, Sathish Krishnan, Munna Simon, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Salim Baig and Maya Krishnan. Music is by Harris Jayaraj, cinematography by Jomon T John and editing by Anthony.

Cobra, on the other hand, is an action thriller directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu. The film features Vikram, Srinidhi Shetty, KS Ravikumar, Irfan Pathan, Miya George, Padmapriya Jayaraman, Kaniha, Mrinalini Ravi, Meenakshi Govindarajan, Sarjano Khalid and Roshan Mathew. While Cobra marks the Tamil debut of Srinidhi and Roshan, it marks the acting debut of former cricketer Irfan Pathan. Music for the film is by AR Rahman, cinematography is by Harish Kannan and editing is by Bhuvan Srinivasan.
