Vidushi Mehra will next be seen sharing the screen with Taapsee Pannu and Pavail Gulati in Dobaaraa, directed by Anurag Kashyap. The actress recently opened upp on collaborating with the talented directorand her co-stars in an interview with ETimes.

In the movie, Vidushi plays a mother, and she discussed working with Anurag, calling him highly perceptive and enjoyable to be around. She continued by saying how the filmmaker's intense gaze first startled her but that she eventually came to know him as a kind and laid-back individual.

She further added, “He is a hard task master on set and is very detailed and particular with what he requires from the actors in their roles. To me, he reminded me of who I am as a mother and I am a mother in real life. So he made that connection so real.”

Vidushi also expressed how grateful she is to work with Anurag because of how patient he is with his performers. She continued by highlighting her fondness of his earlier works and her viewpoint that Anurag is every actor's ideal collaborator because of how precise he is in his writing. Since she believes that every performer in the business wants to collaborate with him.

Vidushi also said, “He is our Quentin Tarantino of Bollywood. He treats everyone with equal respect, is extremely disciplined and his temperament is very easy.”

The actress also mentioned her co-stars Taapsee Pannu and Pavail Gulati, describing them as generous performers. Vidushi continued by describing a few scenes she had with each of them, explaining that their shared goal was to make the scene appear great, thus they both wanted the actor standing in front of them to flourish as well.

On the other hand, Anurag's Dobaaraa, is an official adaptation of the Spanish film Mirage, which was released in 2018. The movie, which centres on time travel, will premiere in theatres on August 19, 2022.

On the work front, Vidushi has appeared in movies including Aisha, No One Killed Jessica, and 7 Khoon Maaf. Soon, she will appear in the web series Black Wood.
