​ Viduthalai: Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja drops promo of Onnoda Nadandha sung by Dhanush

With just two more days to go for the release of the first single from Vetri Maaran's Viduthalai, the film's composer Ilaiyaraaja dropped a promo video of the recording of the song. In the video, we see Dhanush practising his lines and Vetri Maaran stating that the actor has a cold. To which Ilaiyaraaja jocularly says that he needs to take something from Dhanush after all and everyone bursts out laughing. They are all seen wearing masks during the session. The single is titled Onnoda Nadandha. This is Vetri Maaran's maiden venture with Isaignani.​

Dhanush singing the song has been doing the rounds on social media for the last few days. It is to be noted that Dhanush and Vetri Maaran have collaborated on a number of films together, including Polladhavan, Aadukalam, Vada Chennai and Asuran. All the films have been critically acclaimed by the critics and audience. So, Dhanush singing for Viduthalai has piqued the excitement among fans of the duo.

Viduthalai is a crime thriller written and directed by Vetri Maaran. The film features Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. The plot is adapted from a short story titled Thunaivan, which has been penned by B Jeyamohan. The star cast includes Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajiv Menon, Bhavani Sre and Chetan. The portions were shot in the interior remote forests of Sirumalai and Sathyamangalam.
The cinematography is by R Velraj and editing is by R Ramar. The film is said to have some heavy-duty action scenes, which are choreographed by Peter Hein. Jacki has handled the art direction.

Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies is distributing the film, which is bankrolled by Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment.

The film is likely to hit screens in a month or two after which Vetri Maaran will begin shooting for his next with Suriya, Vaadi Vaasal.-
