Sudha Kongara has stated that she is proud of her protégé Bhavani Sre
Vetri Maaran's Viduthalai sure is going places. The film instalment of the two-part film, which has opened to fantastic reviews from critics and audience, has become the talk of the town. The film's lead actor Soori, today, met music maestro Ilaiyaraaja and sought his blessings. The actor dropped a picture on his social media stating that he met 'music' itself and that he sought blessings of the Isaignani. Ilaiyaraaja's songs and the film's background score, too, have received a lot of praise.
Interestingly, this is the first time that Ilaiyaraaja is scoring music for a Vetri Maaran film. Vetri Maaran had stated during the film's audio launch that the composer had brought out exactly what Vetri Maaran had in mind and that he was in complete awe of the maestro. Soori, too, had revealed during the promotional interviews that when he met the composer, he was dumbstruck as he could not believe that he was indeed in front of the legend. He also expressed great happiness at being featured in songs composed by the maestro.
In the meantime, the film's leading lady Bhavani Sre, recently watched the film with Sudha Kongara. The Soorarai Pottru director was all praise for her protege and wrote on her social media handle, "From my Shahira to Tamizh Arasi ….. a brilliant growth ! Loved you and so proud @BhavaniSre (sic)."
Sudha Kongara had earlier shared pictures from the last day of the shoot of Viduthalai. The pictures of the two directors, who both are all set to work with Suriya, became a hit on the internet.
The post-production for the second part of Viduthalai has already begun and with the film receiving a fantastic reception for the first instalment, fans are eagerly awaiting the next. Viduthalai Part 1 stars Soori, Vijay Sethupathi, Bhavani Sre, Gautham Menon, Rajiv Menon, Chethan, Tamizh to name a few. Cinematography for the film is by Velraj and art direction by Jacki.
