Khuda Haafiz star Vidyut Jammwal, who is engaged to fashion designer Nandita Mahtani, recently opened up about wanting to become a father in the future.

The actor said that he is open to all ways of having a child. “I can adopt, I can do IVF, surrogacy, I am open to everything. A child is a child, there should be no way of thinking otherwise. If somebody wants a child, they should get it, because a child is a divine plan. If it's meant to be in your life, it will come to you,” said Vidyut, according to a report in Spotboye.

Vidyut recently also spoke to Zoom about his engagement to Nandita, whom he had proposed to last year. “Consistency is the virtue. Happiness has been there for the longest time,” he said, while referring to their relationship.

Vidyut's most recent appearance was in Khuda Haafiz II - Agni Pariksha, which is currently streaming on ZEE5. In addition to Vidyut, the movie also features an ensemble cast Shivaleeka Oberoi, Sheeba Chaddha, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya.

In the first instalment, Sameer's (played by Vidyut) wife Nargis (played by Shivaleeka) left India in pursuit of work. Khuda Haafiz was distributed on 14 August 2020, exclusively on the OTT platform on Disney+ Hotstar. In order to get over their trauma, Sameer and Nargis had adopted a child in the second film. However, events worsen when their girl is taken and perhaps already killed or about to be shortly.

The second instalment of the Khuda Haafiz franchise released in theatres on July 8, 2022, to lukewarm reviews from spectators. Vidyut will next appear in the upcoming Vinod Bhanushali film Sher Singh Raana. He will also be seen with veteran actor Anupam Kher in IB71, directed by Sankalp Reddy.

Meanwhile, Vidyut launched his production company last year. The actor had said he originally did not intend to become a producer but described it as a tremendous development.
