In the meantime, condolence messages have been pouring in for the actor. Filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, who was supposed to direct Ajith's upcoming project, which is tentatively being referred to as AK62, too, expressed his condolences to the actor. Vignesh, a fan of Ajith, also remembered how Ajith took care of his parents. He put up a story on his social media handle, which read, "Rip #Subramani sir ! Heartfelt condolences to ajith sir .. the way he always took care of him shows the love he had for parents! Praying God to give all the strength and peace to balance this unbearable loss inside the family! (Sic)”

Though Ajith had requested for complete privacy, pictures and videos of the actor at the crematorium did the rounds on social media. There were videos of actress and Ajith's wife Shalini accompanying her mother-in-law and Ajith giving her a consoling hug. Fans of the actor have been sharing videos of the actor who is grieving the big loss and sending their condolences.
