Within a few days after losing his elder daughter Meera, Vijay Antony is back promoting his upcoming film, Ratham. The actor and composer was recently seen giving back-to-back interviews for his project, which is billed as crime thriller.

Fans and industry lauds Vijay Antony's professionalism
Producer G Dhananjeyan dropped a series of pictures of the actor giving interviews and praised the actor and composer for rising above his personal tragedy. After the demise of Vijay Antony's teenage daughter Meera, there were speculations that the film's release might be postponed. However, the producer affirmed that the film would release as planned and that there would be no change in the date. Vijay Antony's gesture has won the hearts of many.

Vijay Antony's daughter dies by suicide
The composer's 16-year-old daughter died by suicide at her residence in the wee hours of September 19. Though the family rushed her to the hospital soon after they found her in the state, she was declared brought dead. It is said that Meera was battling depression.
