Vijay Antony calls his upcoming murder mystery Kolai, the dream and vision of director Balaji

Who killed Laila? This hashtag has been doing the rounds on social media. This tagline from Vijay Antony's upcoming film Kolai, has created more curiosity among not just the film fraternity, but among fans as well. The film, is written and helmed by Balaji K Kumar of Vidiyum Munn fame. The rest of the star cast includes Ritika Singh, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Murli Sharma, Meenakshii Chaudhary, Arjun Chidambaram and Siddhartha Shankar. While the motion poster of this movie raised the expectations, and the trailer was launched recently. 

Speaking at the press meet, which was held in Chennai recently, the film's lead actor Vijay Antony said, "Being a part of this movie itself has been a blissful expience. Kolai is a dream and vision of director Balaji. I can say with complete confidence that it will be a film made on par with international standard."

Talking about his co-stars Vijay Antony said, "It was great working with Rithika Singh and Meenakshi Choudary. Cinematographer Sivakumar had great faith in the movie and director and the music is stunning. CG artist Ramesh Acharya's works will be appreciated. " The movie is produced by Infiniti Film Ventures in association with Lotus Pictures.

The film's director Balaji Kumar, on the other hand, said that he has been waiting for the moment for years and credited Vijay Antony for the film coming to shape. "Vijay Rathinam and Vijay Antony are the main reason behind this project getting materialised. While narrating the script, Vijay Antony sir got soaked into the premise of this story. I never thought that he would accept this script. The actors had blind faith in this movie and gave their best. It's because of their earnest efforts, the movie has gained a great impact in its final output. Technicians are the great pillar of this movie. Kolai will offer a wholesome experience for the audiences that they will watch it second time as well."
