Family Star is all set to hit the screens on April 5, 2024. Featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles, Family Star is directed by Parasuram Petla and Dil Raju is the producer. From the day the project started, it has seen some delays or other issues.
Family Star racing against time to wrap up its post-production
The makers took a lot of time to wrap up the shoot and now the post-production is not yet completed. We have come to know that the music director, Gopi Sundar, is yet to finish the background score and is working round-the-clock to complete his work. The same is the case with the digital intermediate (DI) process and other dubbing works of the film.
The team is working extra shifts to make sure Family Star releases on time. Dil Raju, who is a pro when it comes to the promotion of his films, is a bit upset with the delay in post-production of Family Star. He is known to be ready with the first copy of his films a week in advance and show them to his inner circle for suggestions.

But that has not happened this time as the first copy is not yet ready. With only nine days to go before the release, a chunk of the post-production is yet to be done and this has upset Dil Raju a bit as per the news. He has urged his team to finish the pending work as soon as possible. Amazon Prime has bagged the OTT rights to the film which will stream in the first week of May 2024.
On the other hand, the buzz for the film has picked up big time as Mrunal Thakur and Vijay Deverakonda are going all out with their promotions. Director Parasuram is known to take forever to pen his scripts and even shoot his films. He did the same with Vijay Deverakonda's Geetha Govindam as well.
But the makers are super confident that Family Star will arrive on time and end up as a massive hit in Vijay Deverakonda's career. As the holiday season is on and there are not many other big films releasing during this time, Family Star has a great chance to score big at the box office.
