For the longest time, there have been reports that Vijay and Jersey star Nani had differences and had fallen out. This news was blown out of proportion by fans, leading to a kind of fan war, where Nani and Vijay’s fans started trolling each other.

Some say that Vijay has overtaken Nani in terms of stardom, while others argue that despite Nani launching Vijay in his film Yevade Subramanyam, Vijay has not remained loyal and is showing arrogance. After a long gap, Nani and Vijay were seen together at the 10-year celebration event of their film Yevade Subramanyam. Now that Vijay's film Kingdom is all set to release, he was asked about the rumors in an interview. Vijay admitted that after the release of Yevade Subramanyam, he didn’t get much time to spend with Nani over the years.
"As we were busy, we never got time to meet each other. After ages, we met at the Yevade event and bonded well. I always have a special place for Nani Anna. The other day, he invited me to his house for dinner and we spent some good time together," said Vijay Deverakonda.

The Pelli Choopulu actor made his debut in a special role in Yevade Subramanyam and has come a long way in his career. He is now gearing up for the release of his biggest film to date, Kingdom. Directed by Jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri, Kingdom showcases Vijay Deverakonda in a smashing new avatar, and the film is set to release on July 4, 2025. However, due to post-production delays, the makers have officially postponed the release.
On the other hand, Nani is riding high on the success of HIT 3 and will soon start his new film, The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela. Now that Vijay has cleared the air about his relationship with Nani, fans will finally be at ease.
