Actor, producer Vijay Deverakonda has always gone out of his way to help his friends, filmmakers who've given a major boost to his career in his struggling years without having any airs. The star has consistently maintained that regardless of the commercial failure of Dear Comrade, the team associated with it and the memories they made while shooting for it will always hold a special place in his heart. As the film's director Bharat Kamma makes his digital debut with aha's Bhama Kalapam (as its showrunner), the Pelli Choopulu actor graced its grand trailer launch held in Hyderabad.

"I hope everyone is doing well and is hale and healthy; Omicron hasn't spared many of us this time. I'm very happy to at Bhama Kalapam's trailer launch. The film's showrunner Bharat Kamma did his first project, Dear Comrade, with me. I remember being behind him to do a film with me, especially after I watched his short film titled Bicycle. Dear Comrade will always be an important film in my career and it's a journey that left us with great memories," Vijay shared.

"The producer Bapineedu is a good friend and though I never met the director, Abhimanyu Tadimeti, earlier, I knew he was one of the writers for Dear Comrade. I wish him well for Bhama Kalapam and hope he makes many more films. I'm very excited to see Priyamani (garu) making her Telugu digital debut. I had watched both the seasons of The Family Man and the characters stayed with me long after the show ended. Priyamani understands the sentiments, cultures of each language and audiences perfectly and appears authentic in a film's setting regardless its language," he showered immense praise on Bhama Kalapam's lead actor.

Bhama Kalapam, produced by SVCC Digital, also features John Vijay, Sharanya Pradeep, Shanti Rao, Pammi Sai in crucial roles and will have its global premiere on aha on February 11.
