Vijay Deverakonda's heartfelt gesture for THIS Dance Ikon contestant will move you to tears!

Telugu OTT platform aha, in an attempt to spot the most promising dancing talents from several nooks and corners of the Telugu states, has come up with a new reality show titled Dance Ikon. The show, produced by OAK Entertainments, is hosted by film director and anchor Ohmkar. The first episode of the reality show premiered on aha on September 11. Liger stars Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday made an appearance in the launch episode.

Vijay Deverakonda was particularly moved by a contestant named Raichur Anand, who pretty much has nothing in life beyond his dancing talents. While his father is an auto driver, his mother is a vegetable seller who's suffering from cancer. Both parents wished Anand to study and grow big in life but the youngster's heart always batted for dance. He constantly entertained the people in his neighbourhood with his spirited, energetic dance moves.

In a glimpse shared by aha, Anand's dance teacher Monika says the boy has lofty dreams and expectations from life though he can't fly high because of his reality blues, while also revealing that she faced similar problems in her younger years. Anand hopes to make his parents, near and proud with his presence on Dance Ikon. Vijay Deverakonda was unsurprisingly stunned to witness the steely determination and willpower of Anand and promised help from his end.

"You talked of not even having good clothes; let me tell you that the issue will be sorted soon. You can take all the clothes and accessories you want from my brand Rowdy and dance to your heart's content - it's my promise. I faced a similar problem during my promotions for Yevade Subrahmanyam too. I had worn the same clothes for all the promotions and even requested the team to wear the costumes from the film. This phase won't last long and everything will change for the better," Vijay shared.
