The Amazon Prime series marks Vijay Sethupathi's OTT debut.

After Shahid Kapoor showed his excitement on Vijay Sethupathi joining the forthcoming Raj & DK web series, Makkal Selvan has finally kickstarted the shoot. The filmmaker duo took to their Instagram page and shared a sweet and candid photo posing with the actor. After several speculations, Vijay has finally come on board for the web series with which he will be making his digital debut. The untitled series also stars Raashii Khanna as the female lead.
Meanwhile, Raj & DK posted the photo with Vijay and captioned it with praiseworthy words for the actor. They stated, "Makkal Selvan in da house! #pppaaa #kumudhahappyannachi @shahidkapoor @actorvijaysethupathi @raashiikhanna @bhuvanarora27 @iamsumankumar @mensit @hussain.dalal."
Raashii who has previously worked with Vijay also shared her excitement on her Instagram page. She took to her story and shared a selfie with the National Award-winning actor and wrote, "Collaborating with my favourite human/actor for the third time!!! @actorvijaysethupathi."
Vijay and Raashii shared screen space earlier in Imaikkaa Nodigal and Sangathamizhan. They will also be seen together in Tughlaq Durbar wherein Raashii replaced Aditi Rao Hydari as the female lead.
Meanwhile, Sethupathi is among the busiest actors in the country with several movies in his kitty. His upcoming projects include Tamil flick Tughlaq Durbar and the teaser of the same was dropped a few weeks back. Vijay will also be starring in a Malayalam film titled 19(1)(a) and the film is in the post-production stage.
His other Tamil projects are namely Maamanithan, Laabam, Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir, Mugizh to name a few. The talented star will also be starring alongside Nayanthara and Samantha Akkineni in Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
Moreover, Vijay also kickstarted the shoot of Lokesh Kanagaraj's directorial Vikram co-starring Kamal Haasan and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles.
Talking about Raj & DK's web series, it is set to be an Amazon Prime original.
